RSM Japan Joins FIT Charity Run 2023 for a Meaningful Cause

In a spirited display of commitment to social responsibility, RSM Shiodome Partners proudly participated in the 19th annual “FIT Charity Run 2023” on December 10, 2023, in the scenic surroundings of Meiji Jingu Gaien. Collaborating alongside RSM Seiwa Audit Co., the RSM Japan team collectively contributed its stride to support a noble cause.
The FIT Charity Run, a marathon rooted in altruism, has been a beacon of hope since its inception in 2005. Founded and steered by volunteers from entities engaged in financial services, accounting, tax, and consulting, this charitable endeavor aims to bridge the funding gap for local organizations crucial to their communities but hampered by limited resources owing to lack of recognition.
This year’s event witnessed an impressive turnout, with over 4,500 participants representing 92 companies, including both domestic and international players in the financial realm. The collective effort culminated in an astounding donation announcement of ¥53,662,400 (awaiting final confirmation) raised through the event (as per details from the FIT 2023 official website).
For RSM Japan, approximately 20 members participated as runners and volunteer staff, creating a meaningful opportunity for interaction amongst RSM Japan members. Despite this being their inaugural involvement, the team is resolute in continuing its support for such impactful initiatives in the future, aiming to enrich local communities and society at large through proactive engagement.
